Artwork Requirements
We require high resolution graphic files in order to create your 3D rendering. We cannot use screenshots or photographs. All artwork should be submitted as a vector file in an illustrator SVG, PDF, EPS or AI format.

If you do not have this, we may be able to use a high resolution file in another format. Please feel free to reach out and provide your logo for review. (Do this HERE!) As general guidance, if lines or portions of your graphic appear blurry or jagged, we will not be able to use the file.
If artwork is not of sufficient quality, the order must be canceled or an additional art fee will be charged for us to recreate your design. We reserve the right to reject unusable artwork and require sufficient files in order to complete your order.
Preferred file formats are .svg, .pdf, .eps, or .ai
Please do not send screenshots or photographs, we cannot use these to make your logo. Please email the full file you are taking a screenshot of.

Art Approval
​
A design proof including your 3D rendering and design spec's will be sent via e-mail usually within 24-48 hours after the order has been placed. Lead time may be extended during periods of heavy volume. The design proof must be approved or acknowledged with an email response. Failure to approve your artwork will result in a delay in production time. Proofs that are not approved will result in a full refund being issued.

Once approval is provided your order will begin production. Any changes after this time may be extremely difficult or not possible. Please be sure to closely review all spec's, including color swatches, size and the 3D rendering for accuracy. Your artwork will be scaled to size in the design proof. Please print it out to see what your product actual size will look like. If you would like to see a different size, please do not authorize the design proof and contact us for revisions. Refunds are not permitted once costs have been incurred on making your custom product.

*Note: Raised Decals is not responsible for delays on production timelines due to artwork turnaround time or delayed approval of the design proof/3D rendering. Please be sure to check your proof for artwork accuracy such as: color, dimensions, spelling and product information.

3D renderings are provided free with paid, produced orders. We require a $40 non-refundable deposit on 3D renderings being produced without full payment. If/when an order is placed, the deposit will be applied to your order. If the full invoice is paid and a 3D rendering provided, a $40 artwork fee will be assessed for refunded orders.

Please note that we create your existing logo into a custom 3D product. Freelance graphic design services are not included in our product pricing, therefore we cannot create a new logo for you. We can do simple changes on your logo, such as switching colors. Please provide your logo with order details and we can confirm that the file will work prior to invoicing. Please submit one logo per order.

Artwork troubles? There are resources available to you!
If your logo exists, then someone has a good file for it! Check with your school administration, the university marketing department or your teams website administrator. Most schools have a formal Style Guide or Brand Guidelines. Often to obtain a vector file, the request needs to come from the school contact. There are also super cool sites out there like the Texas High School Logo Project.

There are also freelance graphic design sites you can use to help you create new logos. Check out those like Fiverr.com or Upwork.com.
Original Logo
Vinyl decals can offer a clear or transparent layer, however on 3D decals this is not possible. On designs that have separate sections we need to be able to connect them with a back layer. We generally do this the same color as the helmet.
In the Viper example if we did not connect the jaw to the head there would need to be 2 separate mold fees and separate decals to make up your logo.

For the JP3 example, all the letters and the word "BASEBALL" were detached. If not connected we would be unable to produce the logo as a 3D decal.
3D Rendering with
a Back Layer
In the 3D rendering of the viper the black outline was thickened to be able to connect the jaw to the head. The same thickness was used on the full design to create a unified and professional look.

For the JP3 3D rendering, an outline bubbled around the letters formed the back layer to connect all of the separate pieces. This is generally how word or letter style logos are adjusted. Adding the back layer also gives another dimension to the 3D element.
Designs that have detached sections may require some special consideration. The examples below highlight how these special cases are handled. Our design team with work with you directly regarding changes made to your original logo.

The 3D rendering is then used by our production department as a blueprint to create your super awesome final product!
